Oh Hey December....

WAY TO SNEAK UP ON ME THERE!!!
Usually I have all my Christmas shopping done by now, but I feel like I haven't even started! I love to do homemade gifts (like putting together shadow boxes of wedding, motocross, high school memorabilia etc.) but seriously, this year it seems like I have had no time AT ALL. So family, if my Christmas gifts this year aren't the greatest, I'm sorry! But I will make up for it in future years to come.

This year when my mom asked what I wanted for Christmas the only thing I could say was I wanted a camera. I don't care too much for gifts this year since I have everything that I need. I'd rather my parents spend their money on a child who isn't as lucky as we are, I'd rather shop for others than look at things that I would like to get. I love the spirit of giving, especially when it's a Secret Santa type of thing. Giving to others definitely gives me that "warm fuzzy" feeling!


Lately I've been working 2 jobs, one at an LDS bookstore, and the other as a special ed aide at the local elementary school. There are days when I seriously work from 8 am-11pm with an hour break between jobs to drive to the other job. Don't ask when I sleep, because I'm still trying to figure that one out.
The child I am an aide for is the most severe we have in our class. Me and him have developed quite the bond.

I seriously have my dream job. I LOVE working with the special needs kids!
