I Did It.

I Did It. I am officially signed up to do the Miss N.O. pageant. Now comes my next dilemma.
I need to come up with a cutesy name for my platform, like "The Power of Early Intervention" or "Giving Special Needs Kids a Running Start at Life: Early Intervention"  if anyone has any better ideas...let me know! Please! All ideas will be greatly appreciated!!

When it comes to the talent I'm going against my Mother's wishes, I want to do a swing/jive to Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen. She wants me to play my violin. I get freakish amounts of stage fright when I play my violin in front of people, like a full on anxiety attack!! But when I dance in front of people, I'm nervous at first but the second the music starts it goes away. So yeah, to save myself massive public embarrassment, I'm sticking to dancing.

I'm super excited for the Evening Wear category and the Interview. Wearing gorgeous formal gowns is always tons of fun, and can make any girl feel absolutely beautiful. I'm excited for interview since I discovered I have a secret talent for it when I did Junior Miss a few years ago.

I'm not even going to talk about swimsuit....lol.
