Once upon a time I saw a video super similar to this... and I thought to myself,
"Hey, that would be awesome to do for Elder H, I'm going to do it!!! After all, his birthday is in about a month so I have plenty of time to do it! It shouldn't be toooooo hard."

Am I insane for doing this? Moooooore than likely. Am I freaking out because only one person has sent me a video clip so far? You bet I am! Will it be worth it to hear about his reaction to it the day after his birthday? Every tear, every hair pulled out, every temptation to chuck the dang laptop across the room, every nagging message sent to his friends and family to get them to do video clips will be ooooh so worth it.
The only part of the video that won't be in Elder H's is the one of the missionary tying his tie and putting his badge on, and then the little birthday party scene. This is supposed to be a surprise, and there's no way I could get Andrew to film himself putting his tag on AND film himself eating without him getting suspicious... Knowing me I'd end up blowing the surprise while begging him to do it.
If anyone is a video making genius and wouldn't mind contributing their amazing talents to the "please save Shannon's sanity" fund (no monetary donations allowed) please let me know!!!

I feel your pain! I'm trying to get people to send me like 2 second video clips of people saying hi to Eric..although I might just save that..for his bday video.
