So my birthday wasn't all that bad, it ended up being a really good simple crazy day. The day after wasn't so good though. It kind of sucks when your boyfriend forgets your birthday, but had remembered your brother in laws birthday. It sucks even worse when you realize he had forgotten right before you leave for work. Work that night wasn't the greatest... Please don't give me the whole schpeel of how him forgetting is a sign of how focused and how hard he's working, I already know that. But it doesn't really take the sting away, or make it feel any better. You try having both your mom and boyfriend forget your birthday and see how you feel. :) it's In the past though, and I'm over it now. And yes, I still love that Elder H!

Speaking of work... 2 days after school got out for the summer I started working at the mall bookstore again. In less than a months time of working there, I have
1. Been spit on twice by special needs kids who are not my little guy.
2. Had a mother pour her heart and soul to me about her frustrations and trials of having a severely ADHD daughter. All because I told her I work in and I'm majoring in special education.
3. Forgotten I'm still enrolled in an online class. Oops. I usually remember an hour before an assignment is due. It's awesome.
I really think Heavenly Father knows how much I'm missing my special needs kids, especially my little guy. I'm so grateful that He keeps bringing kids with severe handicaps into the store. It makes working there a little bit more easier. It's kind of funny that so many have been coming in lately, since last fall when I worked there, there was only one or two that came in the 3 months i was there. He knows I would much rather be in a classroom teaching and loving those sweet devilish angels than working retail.
In the week and a half since I last blogged, we got 2 new additions to my family. Their names are Axle, and Trigger. They're full bred 6 week old Labs. Axle is a black lab, and Trigger is a chocolate lab. They're also brothers and loooove to wrestle and hurt each other. Haha. Axle is technically my brother Ryans dog, but since he's not home all the time I've been getting to love and take care of him. Trigger is my sister and brother in laws dog, but he comes over quite a bit. So with the puppies life has been absolutely crazy. Have you ever babysat 2 puppies? Yeah, I'd much rather babysit human babies. Especially since babies don't like to nibble at your toes when you aren't looking. I still love the puppies though, I just can't wait to get out of the biting stage!

So that brings me to now... And its time to go get the Axle baby and take him outside. Here's to keeping my toes!
