Today we had new windows installed throughout our entire house. (Goodbye college fund...I shall miss you!). Let me tell ya, never, I repeat NEVER get your windows replaced in the dead of winter. Why? Well you see...they first take the old windows out leaving a BIG GAPING HOLE WHERE ALL THE COLD AIR CAN COME FLYING IN, and then they put the new windows in. In every. single. room. Oh, and it was like 30 degrees outside. When I came home from work, I couldn't figure out if it was warmer inside the house, or outside. I went to go make hot chocolate to try to warm my body up to normal temperatures, but after filling my mug up about 1/4 of the way full, we ran out of milk...so then I thought "oh hey, I can go wrap up in my favorite blanket!" but then I remembered that that morning, in order to protect my favorite blanket I put it underneath my comforter and other sheets when I made my bed that morning. And my bed had all my books and binders that don't fit on my bookshelf on it, so that was a fail. So finally, I resorted to my laptop to keep me warm. Sadly...it didn't keep my toes from becoming numb from the cold. But I survived! Now this brings me to crazy story numero dos.
For some reason today I have had a massive craving for golden oreos, graham crackers and frosting, dr. pepper, chocolate (I'm not even a big fan of the stuff!), and pretty much anything that is bad for me and will make me fat. It got so bad, I finally gave in and made homemade frosting, and slathered it on graham crackers. I ate like five and I don't even have a stomachache. I think I might go get that gym membership with my older sister so I won't feel so guilty for eating junk food! I am proud to say though that I'm on day #3 with no Dr. Pepper, go me!
