So much has happened the last 8 months.
He's becoming a better, stronger person.
He's grown so much, in every way possible. Each week I'm left amazed by his personal experiences and the things he has learned. He's in a rough area right now, but he wouldn't want to be anywhere else. He loves it.
He's no longer a boy. He's put away childish things, and has become a man.
A man that I love deeply, a forever kind of love.
I'm so proud of him, and all the things he is accomplishing and learning.
It amazes me how fast time flies, a year ago yesterday, he entered the Temple to receive his own endowment.
This Saturday, April 16th, it will have been a year since we spent a weekend at a resort together with some friends and friends of friends.
Next Monday, it will have been a year since we moved back to college for the Spring/Summer semester.
It doesn't feel like he's been gone for 8 months. Sometimes it feels longer, sometimes it feels shorter.
Either way. I love you Elder H. And I am so, so very proud of you.
