The Story of Us.

Once upon a time, I met a handsome prince from a faraway land. A good friend kept telling me how amazing, kind, and perfect this handsome prince was. My curious self beat my rational self and I exclaimed, "I must meet him!" After all, would he live up to all that she said he was? I began to talk to him, and soon discovered that he was indeed amazing, kind, perfect and so much more!!

We became best friends, and my secret crush. We talked nearly everyday, shared secrets, laughed, even gave each other advice. I soon fell in love with him...oh how I loved him! But he couldn't know, since best friends shouldn't date each other! Another of our friends, discovering this dilemma, soon intervened, and got us to admit that we "liked" each other. Oh how my heart fluttered when I found out that he too had a crush on me!

The road hasn't been easy living in two different states.
It's been bumpy and rough, with hills and valleys, and a lake or two.
We tried to be friends, but it could never be. We were destined to be, so much more than "just friends".
A year went by, then another went by and we were still in crazy in love.
He convinced me to go to the school of his dreams, of course my heart overruled my head.
We were never apart at the school of his dreams, wherever he went, I went and where I went he went. 
Our love kept growing and could not be hid. We desired to be married...but.
We knew he must go, to preach to the world of the Gospel of Christ and all the blessings entailed. 
 He was called to a far faraway land, the people there need him much more than I (for now).
2 years for eternity is the price we pay. What a bargain it is! What's 2 years compared to eternity?!
We said our "see you laters" on that drearily sunny August day. Oh how my heart ached!!
But time has passed, and continues to pass and before I know it I'll be reunited with my Handsome Prince.

Thus begins, the Story of Us.
