First, you decide to come freakishly late and give us a Christmas Day looking like this.
That is NOT okay! We were all left to dream about having a White Christmas. We're in the ROCKIES!! We're not supposed to dream about it, we're supposed to LIVE it! The fact that all I had to wear to stay warm on Christmas was a thin hoodie, was also not okay.
Then you decided to kick it into gear and torture us in February. By below freezing temperatures, PLUS some arctic wind. Oh, and don't forget you added some nice sunny skies on top of that. Next time, you can explain to all the kids in the elementary why they can't go outside (-15 with windchill!) even though it's nice and sunny! One day of that is no big deal, but really, an entire week. You tortured those poor students!!!
The week after that it was like those subfreezing temperatures totally exhausted you, so you had to let Spring come in and cover for you. 60 degree weather. It. Was. GLORIOUS! Then after 2 days you decided you were rested enough to come back and give us a massive snow storm.
March was, eh, bipolar. It was sunny and not too cold, but then it would turn cold and rain. Thing were looking nice and springy by the time April rolled around. Everyone started putting their winter clothes away, whipping out the Capri's and sandals. Talk about an April Fool's joke! For the last week, it has done nothing, but RAIN and SNOW!
Does anyone else see what's wrong with this picture? Oh just maybe the fact we're 9 days into April and I have to wear my heavy winter coat, PLUS a warm hoodie to stay warm. Oh and see the snow falling?
It's time for you to give it up Winter. You had your chance, and you didn't want it!!! Let good, sweet, loving, amazing, Spring take a turn will ya? Nobody likes being with a person that doesn't share and take turns!
You do no good for us anymore Winter, you're causing flooding which makes everyone just hate you.
Leave while there's still a few people (*cough*likemyDad*cough*) that still love you.
We're through Winter, I don't want to see you until Thanksgiving. Now, please leave.
Very Sincerely,
Shannon
