Hope.

Right now, I kind of feel like writing about my favorite word instead of all the hard things I'm going through. Hope. I have a quote hanging in my room that reads "Hope is an Anchor to the Soul." Hope is a powerful thing, it gives you the courage you need through the hard times and causes you to rejoice when the good times finally come. Doesn't the word hope just fill you with peace? I don't know about you, but it sure fills me up with peace.

I have hope that better days are to come, that I have yet to learn the lesson of these trials
I have hope that those letters from the land of Mexico will come.
I have hope that the little guy will stop trying to hurt me.
I have hope that I will somehow be able to make my new car payment each month.
I have hope that I will somehow pay for school.

Hope is what drives me to the mailbox each day, to only be let down.
Hope is what gets me out of bed each morning, to face yet another day of work.
Hope keeps me going to church.
Hope keeps me writing emails each Sunday night.
Hope gives me courage and strength.

There will be better days. I don't just hope for it. I know it.
