A Pack of Vultures.

Life has been crazy insane since last Tuesday. Crazy! I tell ya!
I went to my first pageant meeting Tuesday night and it got me extremely excited to compete,
except for the fact 4 other girls are dancing for their talent. Sure they aren't super cool ballroom dancers, but when half the contestants are dancing. Well, according to my Uncle, the judges will get sick of so many dancers.
So I'm changing up my talent. I'm playing my violin.
My Uncle that also works at the same school I do, managed to convince my mother AND the rest of the faculty that if I wanted to win I had to play my violin. So what happened when I walked into the faculty room for lunch the next day? They all attacked me. Like a bunch of vultures on freshly dead meat!
So here I am...now searching like crazy for a violin medley of songs from the musical Wicked. Because I refuse to play boring classical songs. Except I did hear a song this weekend that would be AWESOME on an electric violin. I mentioned this to my Mom while the song was playing. Her response? "Yeah that'd be way cool! We could get one for you!"
What the hay. I nearly died of shock when she agreed an electric violin would be cool. I've been trying to convince my parents for years I need a butterfly chair to complete my reading corner in my room. Yet all I have to do is agree to play the violin for my talent, and BAM. She agrees to an electric violin.
This pageant is doing strange things to my Mother.
It freaked me out so much I said no to the song and the electric violin.
